Britta Görtz
Founder & Senior Coach
I’m Britta Görtz, an extreme metal vocalist with more than 25 years of international experience on stage, in bands, and in the recording studio. My passion lies in harsh vocals in all their forms – from deep growls and powerful shouts to piercing screams. I have been teaching since 2016 and have been working full-time as a harsh vocal coach since 2020.
My lessons focus on vocal efficiency, breathing, and building a solid technical foundation. It’s important to me that you understand how your voice works and learn how to use it in a healthy, efficient, and sustainable way.
My areas of expertise include growls, screams, shouts, and vocal distortion using techniques such as False Cord, Fry Scream, Grit, undertone singing, and overtone singing. I work with ambitious beginners, advanced vocalists, and professional singers alike.
Metal is more than music – it's a way of life. In my coaching sessions and workshops, I create a space for individual growth and creative exploration. Whether you want to refine your technique, develop your own style, or push the boundaries of your voice, I'll support you every step of the way with experience, passion, and dedication.

Junior Coach
I'm Justus, and I support you on your journey toward powerful, controlled, and healthy harsh vocals. My main focus is False Cord techniques – from your very first controlled growls to powerful screams and modern extreme vocal styles.
My lessons focus on vocal efficiency, breathing, healthy voice use, and developing your own unique sound.
Together, we'll work on control, endurance, sound development, and the confident use of False Cord techniques in your musical context.
